Projects
Hecker Guthrie’s winning 2018 Rigg Design Prize entry chose to focus on the table as the centre of the home, a simple piece of furniture that is more than the sum of its parts, a meeting place, workspace, a point for relaxation as well as and object of aesthetic beauty. The brief required tables of every imaginable size and shape, standing in for chairs, benches, cabinets, even floors.
Each component was turned into a Lowe product after the exihibition, living on as a functional piece of art.
