Lowe Furniture primarily uses American White Oak and American Black Walnut. Trees are individually selected from small, privately owned forests. This approach leaves vital woodland habitat intact as opposed to the clear-cut logging of plantation forestry. Each pack of timber arrives in Australia with a carbon neutral rating.

White Oak and Black Walnut possess intriguing and varying grain which adds to their unique and beautiful aesthetic. However, Lowe Furniture can and does work with many different types of timber on request. Andrew and the team’s knowledge of timber materiality means that no piece is unfit for purpose and will stand the test of time.

Lowe Furniture has carefully developed a wide range of finishes to compliment any design or fit any space. They also have the capability to match existing finishes for a cohesive palate.
